Information DPD Collects
Daily Product Deals, DPD, collects certain personal Information as you shop for deals or participate in other website services. We may collect your name, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address. We may also collect personal preferences regarding the type of deals you are interested in, businesses where you prefer to shop, or other information about your shopping preferences and patterns. Most of this information is only collected if you register as a DPD member; some of this information is optional - you don't have to provide it unless you choose to, but you can still participate in DPD and purchase deals. In order to make a purchase from DPD, we will also collect credit card or similar financial information to complete your purchase.
Because DPD relies on credit cards for payment, we do not expect anyone under age 18 to use this website.
DPD’s Use of Information Collected
DPD may use information that collected from you to verify your identity when accessing the website, to process payment for purchases that you make, to inform you about products, services, activities, and other subjects that we believe would be of interest, and to inform our business partners regarding who has purchased deals for that business.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.
If your information has changed, or if you want to correct or remove information that we maintain about you, please contact us via website contact information. Your account information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need to prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.
When our order form asks users to enter Personal Information such as a credit card number, that information is encrypted with industry-standard Secure Socket Layers ("SSL") encryption to keep your online order safe and secure. DPD also maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect your Personal Information.
DPD relies on experienced and trustworthy industry practices such as encryption and secure internet protocols to protect the security and confidentiality of your personal information, including your credit card or other payment information. DPD does not guarantee that your information will not be lost or misused, but DPD does make an honest and sincere effort to ensure that it doesn’t.
